Ms Ella out and about

Ms Ella traveled to Vancouver, Wa to visit with a friend and then did a bit of sightseeing on the way back.

She had a very nice weekend just visiting and then it was homeward bound. First stop was Multnomah Falls:







Next stop was the Maryhill Museum of Art for a tour of the grounds:

Maryhill has peacocks that roam the property (great for rattlesnake control) and Ms Ella watched a peahen and her chicks:





After Maryhill, it was over to the American Stonehenge, a war memorial:





She had a very good time seeing these wonderful American sites.

Ms Ella at Spokane Pride 2010

Ms Ella was in Spokane on June 12 to check out Spokane Pride. She met a lot of people and had a lot of fun.

First up was watching the parade line up:





Then it was off to find a nice spot to watch the parade go by:





After the parade it was back to the park to check out the sights:







She even got her picture taken by Miss Pretty:



Ms Ella had a very nice time in Spokane at the Park and at Pride.

Ms Ella at Riverfront Park, Spokane WA

Ms Ella went to Riverfront Park for Spokane's Gay Pride and arrive a bit early to check out the park.

She checked out the installation for Bloomsday:



Then stopped to enjoy the sunshine and look at the fountain:



The rail on the bridge is a nice place to sit and see the sights:





They have some really cool benches near the water:



Should have brought some bread to feed the geese:

One of the really neat things they have at Riverfront Park is a VERY large Radio Flyer:



It is great to play on and has a gret view:

MsElla's Vacation

Ms Ella headed out on the road recently to see abit of the country and do a bit of camping. She took along a friend who was moving to Vancover BC Canada to live:



Along the way she stopped at a rest area just before Ellensburg:




She stopped in Ellensburg to check out the sights and saw a great mural on a building:




While there she met a new friend and sat on the bench with him for a visit:



Later that night she found a camping area just this side of Snoqualimie and camped for the night:



A couple days into the trip she headed north and stopped for a rest and a snack in Bellingham at a neat little park:




While there she hiked around a bit and enjoyed sitting in the woods:





She made it to Canada and went camping in an area near Weaver Lake (wheelcahirs make handy camp chairs LOL):





In the morning she sat by the campfire and enjoyed her coffee:



She stopped in Hope BC, where they have really neat carved statues on practically every corner and a really nice one of a Mountie:


She stopped off at the Hope Slide, where on January 9, 1965 the largest rock and earth slide in the history of Bristish Columbia happened:



Ms Ella decided that staying at a hotel that night sounded pretty good and found a nice one in Midway BC:
